FAQ

Q: How do I reserve you for my date?

A: Your date will only be reserved once your contract is signed and we have received your contract and minimum 50% of your selected photo collection balance. If you chose to cancel our  services you will be refunded all funds minus any transaction fees and services rendered.

Q: What if someone other than the Bride and Groom is paying?

A: To prevent any confusion of who the client is, it is our practice to have all funds come directly from the Bride and Groom only.

Q: When should we do our engagement session?

A: We encourage you to do your engagement session as soon as possible. The latest we suggest is at least eight to ten weeks prior to the wedding date due to the time necessary to post produce each image

Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?

A: We use our expertise to remove any duplicate shots or shots that are not up to our professional standards. Some shots despite our best attempts may be blurry, unsalvageable due to bad exposure or simply not flattering. We do deliver the most we possibly can because we want our clients wedding day as best documented as possible.

Q: How many images do you typically deliver from and engagement session? From a wedding?

A: We typically deliver anywhere from 20 to 50 images per hour engagement shoot and for a wedding, we typically deliver 60-80 images per hour. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.

Q: If we cancel the wedding, will we receive our retainer fee back?

A: Steven Naranjo Photography take great pride doing the best it can serving brides and grooms to the best of our abilities and understand that life happens. Due to the time and effort that is put into working with brides and grooms Steven Naranjo Photography will not guarantee that 100% of the paid package can be refunded if partial services have been rendered.

Q: If we change our wedding to a different date, will we be able to use our retainer fee towards a future date?

A: If given enough advanced notice, I wish to do my best to be available to be flexible with date changes. If new dates conflict with already scheduled events we may be unable to photograph your wedding and retainer fees may be forfeited.

Q: What size can we print our photos up to with our full resolution image download?

A: In most cases, you can print your photos up to 20×30 without any quality loss. If you’d like to print larger than 20×30, additional post-production will be required.

Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?

A: You have the right to reprint images whenever you want if you are already purchasing the allocated wedding day packages. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Steven Naranjo Photography.

Q: Do you provide the RAW files from my engagement session and/or wedding day?

A: Each of our packages comes with a full resolution image download. However, we typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end (post-produced) product in mind. However, on occasion, we may provide RAW images along with our post-produced JPG’s for an additional fee and restrictions.

Q: Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?

A: While Steven Naranjo Photography is based out of San Diego, we serve clients all around the world. Our destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.

DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FAQ'S

Q: What are Destination Wedding Photography Fees and Prices?
A: Our destination wedding photography packages are the same as our regular wedding photography packages. The only additional costs that our clients would be responsible for are as follows:

1) Airfare

2) Baggage fees

3) Hotel accommodations (typically 2 nights but dependent on the length of the event)

4) Rental car (typically 3 days, depending on the length of the event)

5) Vendor meals for the day of the event(s)

6) Per Diem: $45/day per photographer for meals on travel days and days not on the events

Q: Do I need to book the flights?
A:If you’d like to use your travel miles/rewards and book those flights on your own, we would just like to ask that you send us the flight information ahead of time just so that we may approve the details (flight times, transfers, layovers, etc.)

Q:Do you offer discounted packages for destination weddings?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer discounted packages for our destination weddings so the prices would be the same as our regular packages with the additional travel/lodging costs.

Q: Wouldn’t it be easier to hire a wedding photographer who is already located at the locations of my wedding?
A: Not necessarily. Typically hiring photographers from your wedding location is not only more expensive but riskier in terms of receiving your images. Past clients have decided against hiring foreign photographers for a couple of reasons. It is not only harder to coordinate with them about the details of your wedding day but also if you were to have any questions about your images,  rather than having to deal with a prolonged and inconvenient correspondence, you could simply just come directly to us for assistance.
